17th Ujala Asianet Awards have been distributed in the star-studded event, which was held on Willingdon Island, Kochi. The event, was extremely bright and colorful with the presence of the top league actors, singers and technicians from the movie industry.

The star couples Fahadh Faasil-Nazriya Nazim and Dulquer Salmaan-Amaal Sufiya. It was the first public appearance of the recently married Fahadh and Nazriya. The audience were completely excited to watch the young actor Fahadh onstage; as the actor rarely makes any public appearance.

Malayalam actors Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim who got married in a lavish 'Nikkah' continued their wedding celebrations by giving a splendid reception for the family and friends from industry.

Like wedding, the reception too was a star studded event. The duo got married in an all-glam Muslim Nikah at Al-Saj Convention Centre in Kazhakuttam followed by a grand reception at Camelot Convention Centre, Alapuzha.

The reception was a huge get-together for the Malayalam film industry, as all major and popular stars marked their presence at the conjugal.

The event was extremely colourful with the presence of the big names of Malayalam movie industry, who gathered there to bless the newly wed couple.

Mammootty along with wife Sulfath and daughter Surumi, Suchitra Mohanlal, Balachandra Menon, KPAC Lalitha and son Siddharth Bharathan, Janardhanan, Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal, Rajeev Ravi and Geethu Mohandas, Manoj K Jayan, Nadiya Moithu, Directors Joshiy, Sathyan Anthikad, Blessy and Anil Radhakrishnan Menon were among a few in the industry who attended the reception. Some famous names from politics were also present in the venue.

While Nazriya donned a heavily designed lehenga choli, Fahadh looked striking in black velvet jacket with trousers. Nazriya was seen wearing the same diamond necklace which Fahadh gave her as wedding gift.
